As the CEO of CBRE Spain, Adolfo Ramírez-Escudero is responsible for steering the company’s direction, its strategy as well as maintaining contact with the highest level of players in the industry and within CBRE’s global network. He is also a member of the CBRE EMEA Board.

Adolfo was appointed Chairman Capital Markets Continental Europe in 2015 and he is the chief executive in charge of this area in UK, Germany, France, Nordics, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

Adolfo first joined CBRE in 1995. Over his 20 years in the company, he has held various different positions of responsibility such as COO in 2001 and head of the Capital Markets Department and Member of the Advisory Board in 2005.

Specialized in real estate investment, Adolfo has always championed innovation as the cornerstone of growth. As such, he founded business lines in Spain such as Corporate Finance in 2004 – within the Capital Markets department − created a new consultancy service for investment funds via a Joint Venture with Morgan Stanley in 2006 and set up the EMEA Debt Advisory team in 2007.

  • Professor in the MDGI Real Estate Postgraduate Course of ICADE, and the RICS executive programme at the Instituto de Empresa.
  • Guest speaker at several workshops for the Spanish Real Estate Investment Market (Grupo Recoletos, Esade, APD; Association of Building Management, Master CSA, etc.).
  • Member of RICS. Qualified in Investment and Finance, 2007.

  • Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) in Spain.
