Bill McDowell is Development Director at National Real Estate Advisors in the United States. He is responsible for establishing and executing the company´s policies and strategies while working to identify, assess, recommend and negotiate development opportunities.
With over 30 years in the development and construction industries, Bill has previously served as the Head of Real Estate at Spring Creek Investment Management, where he was responsible for the oversight of large-scale multi-family, student housing, office and retail project types. McDowell has also worked as a Senior Project Executive with Barnes Foundation, where he was responsible for the management and oversight of the design and construction of a $150 million building.
Over his professional career, Bill McDowell was Director of Development with Brickstone Realty, Senior Director of Real Estate Development with National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) and Deputy Executive Director of Design and Construction with the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Philadelphia.
McDowell holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University.
Bill McDowell currently teaches about Project Management and Sustainability in the Global Masters in Real Estate Development program at IE school of Architecture and Design.
