  IEU Labs are hands-on, internship-like experiences. Every lab is essentially a fully tutored working space where students can collaborate with companies and institutions.

Corporate Experience

Ralf Klann is a Managing Director (“MD”) with Corestate Capital Advisors (“Corestate”), one of the MDs responsible for the business unit commercial and for commercial asset management. Before joining Corestate, he was MD with Bilfinger Real Estate (“BRE” – now Apleona) responsible for portfolio- und fund management, corporate real estate management (“CREM”), asset management, project development and energy consulting (sustainability consulting). Before that he was Head of Investment Risk – Europe for Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (“ADIA”) and as an Executive Committee Member joint responsible for the portfolio and fund management and for all real estate and development activities worldwide. Before that he worked for J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank Group and a decade for a development company.

Academic Experience

He is a adjunct professor at Universities IE University Madrid, EBZ Business School Bochum, Bauhaus University Weimar, IREBS Immobilienakademie Regensburg/Eltville. Ralf’s career covers more than 30 years in all real estate sectors and asset classes with a main focus on Europe but also global experience in Americas, Middle East, Asia and Pacific region.

Academic Background

He studied civil engineering, architecture and holds a master’s in real estate from Cass Business School in London as well as a PhD in Business Administration. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (“RICS”), a past member of the German Board and Continental European Educational Standards Board of the RICS.
