Thomas is the Managing Director of Catella Property Valuation GmbH, based in Frankfurt/Germany as well as the Head of Group Research for the Catella Group, a Swedisch based investment company. Over the past 24 years he has held several management positions in real estate companies, including Dresdner Bank, DEGI, Aberdeen Property Investors & IVG Immobilien AG.
Thomas is a lecturer at Universities like IREBS/Regenburg, ebs European Business School Wiesbaden, DIA Deutsche Immobilienakademie/ Freiburg and EIPOS Dresden. At the Biberach University of Applied Sciences he holds a professorial chair in Real Estate Research. Furthermore, he is a speaker and moderartor at renowned real-estate congresses and author of numerous articles and textbooks.
Thomas holds a Phd and is graduated geographer, studied geography and business management at the Universities of Stuttgart and Mannheim. He also successfully completed a course of study at the European Business School (EBS) to become a Real Estate Portfolio Manager.
