A New Rural Farm for Tourists & Locals in Santiago de Compostela.
The massing of the complex is following the neighbourhood layout to achieve a visual continuity of the urban space. The original large urban-looking building shape is broken up into smaller areas by “aggregation” of buildings, following the existing scheme of the surrounding neighbourhood and immersing the new development into the landscape.
There are three key viewpoints offered in the project; the rooftop restaurant and the apartments, which provide outstanding views to the urban and rural landscapes of Santiago and the cafe/library building, enhancing the main square.
The main square enhance outdoor community gatherings and offer pleasant outdoor spaces for the neighbourhood to enjoy.
