Daniel Blanch researches and publishes on issues arising from the challenges of democracy in today’s complex multicultural contexts. The development of democratic accountability and citizen participation in Western countries are central to his focus.
He holds an MA and a Ph.D. from the Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, USA. He has participated in a diversity of conferences and publications, and is on the Editorial Board of the journal Foro Interno: Anuario de Teoria Politica. He has also translated numerous academic texts on multiple topics, including The American Evasion of Philosophy, by Cornel West, and The Federalist Papers, by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison and John Jay (translated into Spanish with Ramon Maiz). He has lectured at several universities in Spain and the USA.
