Fabio Franchino

Fabio Franchino (LSE, 2000) is Professor of Political Science at the University of Milan. He is primarily interested in the politics and policy of the European Union and in comparative legislative, executive and bureaucratic politics. More recently, he has employed survey experiments to study public policy attitudes. He published several articles in political science journals and his The Powers of the Union: Delegation in the EU (Cambridge University Press) won the EUSA award for the best book published in 2007-8. He is associate editor of European Union Politics and co-editor of the Italian Political Science Review. He has been President of the European Political Science Association in 2015-7.
