Professional experience
Laura Illia (PhD) is Associate (Tenured) Professor in Corporate Communication at IE University and IE Business School, and is Academic Director of the Executive and Full-time Masters programs in Corporate Communication at the same University (ES). Her current research focuses on how issues of social responsibility, reputation, branding and social media are involved in organizational management. She has been teaching and doing research at the University of Cambridge (UK), London School of Economics and Political Science (UK) and University of Lugano (CH).

Her works are published in journals like MIT Sloan Management Review, Journal of Management Inquiry, British Journal of Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Corporate Reputation Review, Corporate Communication: An international Journal, Journal of Public Relations Research, and others. She currently serves on the Editorial Board of Business & Society (Sage), Corporate Reputation Review (Palgrave) and Corporate Communication: An international journal (Emerald). Next to her academic engagements she collaborates with Cotting Consulting International, as Head of Research.
