Diary of a MIR Student

Two weeks of work remain for the MIR class of 2011 and things are really winding down.  Each day a new student posts on facebook that they’re done with their Thesis.  Each day draws up closer and closer to graduation.  And each day seems to pass by fast than the previous.

Tomorrow is a holiday in Spain so the MIR class is taking advantage of the day off by going tonight for a class outing and then hopefully a picnic in Retiro park tomorrow—weather permitting.  Nostalgia is already filling the air as in one month we’ll officially be graduates.  It’s a nice feeling being so connected to one’s classmates but it makes it more bitter sweet to think about leaving our MIR family.
