IE School of Arts & Humanities extends its warmest welcome to the 2011-12 intake of the Master in International Relations (MIR). You have joined a vibrant, growing, hard-working, community of students.
We are positive that your experience at IE in Madrid will be a challenging and highly rewarding one. We do encourage you to get involve and actively participate in all activities and events offered by the IE International Relations Club, and we hope that you will contribute to our blog and voice your opinions.
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to follow us on IE’s International Relations Blog, a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and research proposals. Moreover, the IR Blog is an invitation to extend the vision of all those who are always curious to know more, and who want to share with us their ideas and experiences in the broad range of fields that comprise our environment. It aims to become a network of both current and former students of the Master in International Relations, where they will not only be able to reconnect with each other, but also collaborate on future projects and joint ventures.
The Class of 2012 is a thriving and truly international group of 35 students representing over 17 countries around the world: Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Haiti, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, UK, USA, and Venezuela. Students admitted to the program have excellent academic records, valuable international work experience, and come from a variety of backgrounds, including business administration, commerce, communication, cultural studies, economics, finance, government, humanities, industrial engineering, international relations, journalism, law, liberal studies, management, neuroscience, philology, philosophy, political science, public administration, and translation.
