Credit Recognition
You may have heard that extracurricular activities are an important part of your University life, and they are, but here at IEU, you can also get credits for them if you are a SINGLE degree student!
SINGLE degree students who complete IEU extracurricular activities, such as, languages classes, labs, seminars, volunteer work or sports during their bachelor degree can recognize those activities to count towards their total number of required credits to graduate.
Once the student completes an activity, it will automatically appear in the Supplementary Training section of their transcript.
Later on, they will be able to recognize these activities to count as credits towards graduation. Students will receive an email from the Registrar’s Office when the time comes with the instructions to recognize their supplementary training.
Whether or not you choose to recognize credits, getting involved in these activities outside the regular classroom will not only sharpen new skills, but are also a great incentive to make the student’s education more well-rounded, varied and fun! University years are one of the best periods in life to explore new activities, try different things, and see what you’re passionate about.
To see a complete list of what activities that can be recognized and how many credits you can obtain for them please check the Guidelines for credit recognition academic year 2022-2023.
