Final Project
A vital puzzle piece in a student’s academic journey is what he does with the tools and knowledge learnt over the years. In their final year of studies, students submit a final project, which consists of a thorough study of any aspect related to the subjects covered during the degree and will give students the opportunity to apply and integrate the knowledge acquired throughout their career.
This experience helps the students reflect on various aspects of the discipline, create new knowledge that will give them the opportunity to contribute to the discussion of the discipline and also enrich their professional future.
The purpose of the Final Project is the elaboration and presentation of an independent, original, thorough and individually elaborated research work on a contemporary question of international significance within the scope of the
BIR program.
The BIR Final Project equals 12 ECTS, to be completed in the students’ last year.
BIR students can choose to write a Thesis on any topic related to global affairs, or joining a Capstone Project with an external partner.
BBABIR and LLBBIR students should write two separate thesis worth 12 ECTS each, or a joint thesis where 12 ECTS will be awarded to BIR and 12 ECTS to BBA/LLB.
Please read through the BIR – TFG Information Session 25-26 and BIR Capstone Information Presentation 25-26 to know more about the different possibilities and requirements for your Final Project.
