I would like to start congratulating you. Today, you are officially part of the IE University community and more specifically, of our School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs. It marks the beginning of a professional and personal transformational journey. And I am sincerely excited to welcome you on behalf of all our teams that are devoted to creating an unforgettable experience for the time you will spend at IE.

Starting an academic program is always a special moment, full of energy and expectations. Whether you are coming from across the world or just a few blocks away, you bring with you a background, a purpose, and a goal you are ready to shape. We are honored that you have chosen to shape it with us.

Here at IE, we believe in ambitious learning: learning that goes beyond knowledge but that includes challenges and experiences. You are stepping into an academic environment that is rigorous and dynamic, where real-world problems and global debates are part of daily conversations.
