Informative Sessions: “Landing in Madrid”
In order to welcome students to Madrid and provide them with all the necessary information related to their arrival, the Student Services office organizes on campus briefings. Students can register for these sessions through the Online Campus.
The Student Services Office organizes an optional intensive Spanish course, prior to the beginning of the Master program, designed for foreign students who do not speak Spanish or whose level is so basic that they cannot interact with Spanish speakers. We recommend that enrolled students interested in signing up for the classes do so as soon as they receive access to the Online Campus.
Our campus is located in one of Madrid’s nicest neighborhoods, Barrio Salamanca, right in the middle of the financial district. Madrid’s renowned public transportation system makes it easy to move around the city.
The metro stops closest to campus are “Avenida de América” and “Gregorio Marañón”. For a metro map, rates, and other information, please visit the following link: www.metromadrid.es
Madrid’s bus network is quite extensive. There are numerous bus stops in or near our campus that make it easy to access nearly every other part of Madrid.
IE’s campus consists of several buildings within a few blocks of each other, right in the city center. You will find that the rest of Madrid is within walking distance.
Students often come to IE accompanied by their partners and families. They are an integral part of the IE community, having access not only to campus facilities, but to most of the extracurricular activities organized at the school. For information on the IE Partners Club and how to register, feel free to contact the Campus Life department (Campus.Life@ie.edu).
