Overview of our Executive Leadership Bootcamp: essential learning for a top Executive MBA<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Modern business leaders must act with good physical and emotional health. Our Executive Leadership Bootcamp in Segovia nurtures those characteristics, setting our Executive MBA cohort up for future success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While much of the Executive MBA is focused on project-based learning with actionable academic topics, the residential week is a moment of bonding among course mates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It takes place every year and offers an array of classes that supplement the more cerebral aspects of our curriculum.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Segovia, Spain is a historic city located northwest of Madrid and central to the Castile and Le\u00f3n region. Upon visiting, you\u2019ll be welcomed by a plethora of artistic design, including Romanesque churches, a Gothic cathedral and the Medieval Alc\u00e1zar. It\u2019s also home to one of our IE University campuses. With a serene, green backdrop, it\u2019s the perfect destination to reconnect with your purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A range of personalized Executive MBA classes throughout the week <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The most recent residential week took place from September 30th <\/sup>to October 4th<\/sup>. It included a range of transformative workshops focused on leadership, communication and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first half of the week featured workshops on value, vision and holistic leadership. Participants learnt how to align their core values with a clear professional vision. They also worked on emotional intelligence and self-awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students applied all these concepts to ethics of communication. With classes on mindfulness, they built connections both with nature and each other.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The latter half of the week focused on vitality management, nutrition for brain performance and self-care. These unique MBA classes culminated in discussions on how to nurture diverse thinking styles to ultimately drive organizational success\u2014with concluding presentations and reflections on how the week went.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive MBA residential experience according to the students <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We target our Executive MBA towards those with over 8 years of professional experience. The resulting cohort is mature and ready to take the next step in leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Current student Omar Hatem<\/a> described the residential experience as \u201can incredible week\u201d. He noted: \u201cWe had the privilege to immerse ourselves in the Executive MBA holistic week alongside our fellow Spanish cohort. It was a week of collaboration, and exploration, filled with new perspectives and valuable lessons.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We engaged in dynamic team exercises and walked away with not only new tools but new friends. This week reinforced that continuous learning, diversity, and working together are essential in shaping us into more effective leaders for the future.\u201d<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Another fascinating insight came from Executive MBA student Hugo Rodrigo Beramendi Ortega<\/a>: \u201cOne of the standout lessons was the relationship between Body-Mind-Soul and kinetic thinking. We also embraced the Appreciative Inquiry approach for change management, which shifts focus from problems to strengths, successes, and future potential\u2026 Our journey reminded us that by focusing on what\u2019s already working well, we fuel enthusiasm, cultivate innovation, and build lasting, positive change.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
