Goretti González

Originally from California, Dr. González holds a Ph.D. form Harvard University’s Department of Romance Languages and Literatures (2016) and an M.A. from UCLA (2008). Professor González has given conferences, publishes, and works on cultural and literary production in early modern Spain, as well as exchanges between Spain, Italy, and the broader Hispanic world. She is interested in visual and material culture, multilingual texts, the construction of identities and the history of the novel. Her successful teaching in language and literature has been recognized by UCLA, Harvard, and IE University. Dr. González is currently part of the adjunct faculty at IE’s Departments of Languages and Arts and Humanities and is a member of the Foundation at Northgate González Supermarkets.
