Margarita Chiclana is teaching Property Practice and Business Valuation at MRED.
Economist and MSc in Economic Policy from Complutense University of Madrid, she was an Associate Professor of Economics for more than a decade in the MBA program at the National Distance Education University (UNED). Fellow of the faculty of Mechanical Engineering, teaching Economics to postgraduate engineers from Spain and Latin America, around the world. She also was involved as an Academic Tutor and a MBA Dissertation Professor at UNED.
Margarita has over 25 years of professional experience in Real Estate, with a strong background in Finance and Investment with a value added focus.
A Cities and Urban planning enthusiast, she was instrumental in developing the TRIBALL Area of Madrid with the City Council, an interesting project of Urban Regeneration, combining public and private initiatives in the heart of the capital of Spain and is specialized in Real Estate Development. From Land to special buildings and “Areas”, she is working in the main cities of Spain managing Housing, Offices, “Dotacional” (facility areas) and Retail development in the private and public spaces.
She is currently working as the CEO of FUSA/FEGAUNION, a real estate family-run company, and leading UNEXUM a Real-Estate Asset Management company. As an executive member of the Board of these companies and other SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicle), she has acquired the ability to prepare and defend Projects for different investors before the Board of Directors.
