Philip Tidd is the Head of Consulting, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Gensler. His role is to lead and expand Gensler’s consultancy business in the EMEA region, where its team covers all aspects of workplace research and strategy and their implementation.
His background in architecture and design has contributed to his 22 years of experience in workplace consultancy, interstitial spaces, real estate advisory and design and urban strategy services. Beyond his many years with the firm DEGW, he has worked with both international corporate and local public sector organizations, advising them on all aspects of how improved working environments can lead to enhanced business performance.
Philip Tidd holds an MA in Architecture degree, with distinction, from the Royal College of Art and a BA, with honors, in Interior Design, from Middlesex University. He regularly speaks at conferences in the UK and Europe on a wide range of ‘Workplace and City’ issues. He is an active member of CoreNet, the British Council of Offices (BCO), the Workplace Consulting Organisation (WCO) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI), British Institute of Facility Management (BIFM), EuroFM and the Federation of Corporate Real Estate (FCRE).
