This program will prepare students to understand and experience the international business from both a management and legal perspective. Develop an international career. This program focuses on international content, allowing students to fully understand both comparative law and international business. They will also learn the necessary skills to analyze and understand these two fields from a management viewpoint, which in turn will help them to make the best decisions for any organization around the world.

 

Study an interconnect degree. Based on core modules that lead students through an integrated study plan, this degree merges the disciplines of law and business administration. Students will undertake a range of courses that are specifically designed to ensure a coherent and integrated learning experience. In the first year, you will undertake foundation modules that teach a broad understanding of both disciplines. From the second year onwards, you will then take a more in-depth look at topics related to economics, globalization, entrepreneurship and corporate law.

 

Acquire a true global unique profile. This is a truly unique and international program that will give you a comprehensive knowledge of comparative law and international business. This program delivers the skills that are necessary to work in both disciplines, the global business management and private law. By studying unique topics and skills that unite both disciplines, students acquire expertise in both analysis and decision-making.

 

Develop management skills in the global law arena. In this program, you will obtain the knowledge and skills needed to analyze and understand both the corporate and legal worlds. Our hands-on education model will prepare you to face real-life global issues and find effective solutions for most international and complex issues.

You can study the Dual Degree in Business Administration + Laws both in Segovia and Madrid. If you choose to start your studies in Madrid you will study all five years in Madrid. On the other hand, if you choose to start your studies in Segovia, then you will study the first two years in Segovia and the last three years in Madrid.

During your first year, you will learn the foundations of business and law, how they complement each other, and what relationship they have with other fields within the corporate environment. Through courses like Management Tools and Principles, Mathematics for Management, Constitutional Law, Introduction to Private Law, and Marketing Fundamentals, you will start to develop a critical-thinking mindset that will allow you to approach business and law through an interdisciplinary lense. This first year is also a great time to join an IEU Lab and to take part in a social-impact project.

In this year, you will study advanced courses that focus on corporate law and entrepreneurship. During both semesters, you will study Accounting, Finance, Capital Markets and Commercial Law II, which provide a basic understanding of the corporate world. Our entrepreneurship modules, Entrepreneurship 360°, Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the IE Challenge, will encourage you to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and solve legal challenges. You will also study courses related to the economic and legal sectors around the world.

During the third year, you will focus on globalization and the economic and legal environment. Students begin by exploring how globalization is impacting the fields of business and law through the Strategy, Multinational Enterprise, EU Law and Contracts modules.

 

Then, through the Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Global Economic Environment, Administrative Law I and Taxation I modules, you will analyze different economic environments and learn how to make better business decisions. In addition to this, students have the chance to look closely at corporate and entrepreneurial law.

In your final year, you will work on and present your final project, which can be on a topic of your choice. This in-depth research will form the foundation of a final written project, which will be presented to a panel of academics and professionals. Alongside this, you will learn the soft skills needed to manage a multinational corporation through the Organization Behavior, HR and Labor Law I modules, as well as how to address conflicts in the Litigation I and Private International Law modules.
