Welcome Workshops to IE University Studies
IE University will be organizing workshops for high school students that will give them the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a university student.
These workshops are comprised of sessions directed for specific schools as well as general sessions offered to the incoming IE University students.
They take place outside school hours and add value to academic resume. They have a very practical approach and allow students to develop their creativity and soft skills, all to get a foundation that serves to successfully start you on your academic future.

• Provide preliminary knowledge of the different disciplines and degrees IE University offers

This will truly be a unique experience where the high school student will be given the opportunity to start this exciting journey of successfully choosing their future university.
Just this year, more than 450 undergraduate students of Spain and a variety of other European countries have enjoyed this excellent workshops directed by our very own IEU professors. They have given workshops on entrepreneurship, abilities, communication, leadership, design thinking, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
In previous editions we welcomed students from King's College (Spain), El Limonar International School (Spain), Lycée Perguad de Besancon (France) Bundeshandelsakademie Hallein (Austria), IMIBERG s.c.r.l. (Italy), Kauno Saules gimnazija (Lithuania), IES San Mateo (Spain), and Thorén Business School (Sweden).

Past editions of IEU Welcome Workshops
Program Erasmus + KA2 Entrepreneurship Workshop
On December 2 and 3 IE University ran a workshop on entrepreneurship for students from five leading European institutions based in Austria, Italy, Lithuania, Spain and Sweden.
The students were all recipients of Erasmus grants and subsidies awarded by the European Parliament, and the institutions they represented were Bundeshandelsakademie Hallein (Austria), IMIBERG s.c.r.l. (Italy), Kauno Saules gimnazija (Lithuania), IES San Mateo (Spain), and Thorén Business School (Sweden). Each of these five institutions will select six of their top students to present an entrepreneurial project.
The sessions were led by Professors Peter Bryant and Carlos Pallero, accompanied by Jorge Schnura, co-founder of Tyba, a recruiting company he created with two fellow students while studying for their Bachelor Degree in Business Administration at IE University.
After the workshop the students went to visit Warner Bros Consumer Products where Rosa Tevar, Director of Licensing for Spain and Portugal, and Felix Anguita, RBD and Marketing Manager, gave a talk on the company and its future.
King's College Leadership Workshop
King’s College students attend sessions on entrepreneurship and leadership at IE University
Over 100 students from King’s College, a British school based in Spain considered a leader in the international education sector, took part in two workshops on entrepreneurship and leadership held on November 25 at IE University’s Segovia campus.
The sessions were led by Professors Peter Bryant, Tara Wernsing and David Goodman accompanied by Jorge Schnura, co-founder of Tyba, a recruiting company he created with two fellow students while studying for their Bachelor Degree in Business Administration at IE University.
