Eduarda Uliana
I knew I wanted to join a university that had a highly diverse student body and campus, and that’s what led me to IE University. The class sizes are much smaller than in other universities, and this has made the experience even more personal. I feel very much a part of a close-knit community where there is a great support system, and I know I can always rely on my professors and peers to help me overcome any challenge.

Originally from Brazil, Eduarda feels right at home on the IE University campus. When she’s not attending her classes and working on her assignments, she can be found going over group projects with her friends and discussing plans for the weekend.
Eduarda particularly values the advice and support she has received throughout her studies. Every time she has faced a new challenge during her Bachelor in Behavior and Social Sciences degree, she has quickly found lots of solutions and felt highly supported. For instance, when she experienced some struggles during her statistics class, she reached out to her professors who were incredibly helpful. They invited her to come in and talk to them, and were even available for tutoring.
She would advise all first-year students to reach out to as many people as possible: professors, fellow students, advisors, mentors, etc. Eduarda stresses that, “There are so many ways the university can support you and you shouldn’t waste that opportunity: all you have to do is reach out and take it.”
