From January 28 to 30 Madrid hosted “2015 Starting Point,” one of the largest young talent exhibitions to date. The event was created by a group of students from IE University and attended by 200 young people from 65 countries, aged between 16 and 24 years old, all with a marked entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on innovation. The overriding aim was to introduce members of the new generation who, despite their young age, are currently known worldwide for their entrepreneurial verve, and for their talent and new ideas.

The forum was given extensive media coverage, providing an opportunity to transmit the initiatives of the world’s most talented youngsters who in the near future will be serving as examples to the rest of the world. News of “2015 Starting Point,” created and organized by IE University students, appeared on Spain’s five main television channels. The authors of the initiative were interviewed by radio stations with some of the largest audiences. Related articles were published in the New York Times and in El País, to quote just two examples. The event also had over 150 mentions on online media, and generated numerous teleprinter news messages sent out by leading press agencies.
