All scholarships will be fully covered by IE Foundation thanks to its general scholarship fund together with the support of the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat, the IE School of Architecture and Design and the IE School of Global and Public Affairs. The agreement was signed by Registar of the GSS, Kingsley Agyemang, the Executive Vice President of IE Foundation, Gonzalo Garland, the Dean of IE School of Architecture and Design, Martha Thorne, the Dean of IE School of Global and Public Affairs and Provost of IE University, Manuel Muñiz on April 8 at the IE Tower in Madrid in the presence of HE Muhammad Adam, Ambassador of Ghana to the Kingdom of Spain.

The scholarship program will be available to Ghanaian candidates who are outstanding academic performers and committed to developing their professional future and the future of their country.

“This program is an exemplary collaborative effort between the IE Foundation and the Scholarship Secretariat which falls within the core mandate of the Secretariat to provide opportunities for qualified Ghanaians to pursue higher education outside the country. It fulfills one of our aims of providing the needed skills for the youth to contribute to national development,” said Kingsley Agyemang, Registar of the Ghana Scholarship Secretariat.

“It is an honor to support future Ghanaian talent with these new scholarships, which are focused on two key areas for the future of the country: real estate development and international development,” commented Gonzalo Garland, Executive Vice President of IE Foundation.

“We look forward to welcoming the scholarship recipients to our campus and into the IE community.”
