IE University analyzes the future of work during Virtual Alumni Day attended online by more than 66,000 graduates from 169 countries

IE University will celebrate the 1st IE Virtual Alumni Day on Saturday November 7, with the participation of more than 66,000 alumni from 169 countries. Organized by IE’s Global Alumni Relations, Talent & Careers, Global Markets and the IE Foundation, the event will feature the presence of international experts who will share their vision on the main trends in the post-COVID job market and the skills and personal growth required in the digital world.

This virtual conference will be held over the course of 24 hours on November 7 so as to adapt to the world’s main time zones: starting in Asia, it will continue in Europe and the Middle East, and draw to a close in the United States. Participants will be able to access conferences and initiatives in each region, thus further strengthening the international IE community network.

The main theme will be Leveraging new realities to reset your career plan in a post-Covid world. Among the main speakers will be Nick Van Dam, IE University’s Chief Learning Officer; Noémie Le Pertel, Academic Director of Executive Master in Positive Peadership at IE School of Human Sciences and Technology; and Patrick McGinnis, international venture capitalist and author of Fear of Missing Out: Practical Decision-making in a World of Overwhelming Choice.

“We want to make this a free event so absolutely anyone who is interested in learning how they can reposition or reinvent themselves could join. We've also gone a step further, and we've partnered with the IE Foundation and wanted to give our community the opportunity to contribute to the IE Resilient Scholarship Fund to show their solidarity,” added Julia Sánchez.
