IE University Students Begin a Campaign to Donate Clothes to Families in Need in Nairobi A group of IE University students has launched a campaign - the donation of clothes for people in need in Paradise Slum Nairobi, Kenya.

The student leading this action is the Guatemalan Daniel España, a second-year undergraduate student of Business Administration (BBA). Daniel did a two-month internship in Kenya volunteering at the NGO "Strathmore Educational Trust" aimed at helping parents and children. These practices form part of a corporate social impact - "Social Impact Project" - designed so that IE University students can provide a service to a community outside the borders of the campus. The African experience was very professionally enriching for Daniel, awakening in him a special sensitivity to the needs of slum dwellers of Paradise Slum. Students have placed three containers for the collection of clothes: one outside the office of the BBA on the third floor, another next to the library on the second floor, and the last one in the cafeteria. Do not forget: • Any type of clothing is acceptable provided it is clean • You have to put clothes in sealed plastic bags • We also accept winter clothing. It has also placed several money boxes to cover the cost of sending the clothes to Africa. They are located in the library, the cafeteria and in the rectory hall, in the office of Nicky Sharp.
