IE University welcomes parents

On May 29 IE University organized a welcome cocktail for parents in the Paper Pavilion at the Madrid center. The event was attended by around 150 parents of current students, future students, and candidates, along with members of IE’s Development, Admissions and Marketing teams, the directors of different IE University bachelor programs, and professors.

The event commenced with welcoming words from Miguel Costa, Director of Admissions and Development at IE University, and Rafael Benjumea, President of IE University’s Board of Governors. During his address, Costa welcomed the parents to the IE University community, explaining how they may find themselves being locum parents to students from over 80 countries in the world. Benjumea underscored how IE University is now recognized worldwide, and the excellent academic profile of its students, as well as mentioning the scholarships awarded by AJE and the Quiron hospital group for students from developing countries. During the cocktail, parents and current and future students all had the opportunity to exchange experiences.

The event was such a success that IE University will be holding a further cocktail over the next few weeks.
