IEU Students innovate in the field of law

Ana Martínez-Valls and Wojtek Zaluzka, IEU Business and Law Students, have recently pitched new business ideas at the Miami Law School. One of them was successfully awarded a second place in the contest.

LawWithoutWalls (LWOW) is a project founded in Miami Law School by Harvard Professor Michele DeStephano. Students from 25 law and business schools from 14 different countries participate in the contest. Coming from Stanford, Harvard Sciences Po, McGill, IEU and several other universities, students subscribe to a 3-month online course taught by today’s most prestigious law, entrepreneur and academic mentors. The learning’s of such courses are materialized into a final project that is presented by a three-student group related to innovation on the field of law.

LWOW provided us with the opportunity to meet with people from all over the world who go to the best law schools while granting you exposure to Venture Capitalists, future investors and experts on the field. In this case, Ana and her team members (all of which came from different Universities and cultural backgrounds) developed an App designed to help lawyers and student improve their negotiation skills as their final project. They were awarded the second position in the contest!
