We focused on the illegal activities of the Chinese mafia within Madrid and capitalized on space and technology to propose solutions within the luxury and fashion industries. Our research scrutinized sites in which the money laundering schemes were taking place: luxury stores; airports; hunting grounds; black markets, etc. The proposed solutions included: using existing infrastructures such as airplanes and airports in combination with free port areas to reinvent the luxury shopping experience; and implementing RFID technologies within airport security systems.
