I am Fabiola, an entrepreneur who loves strategic business analysis and management, development of KPIs and customer experiences.

I enjoy the lunch and learn sessions. This week we had David Reyes from Idealista, he told us about his ten years of experience in the data & analytics industry, focused on big data advanced model development and data monetization models.

What was the most challenging part of your week?

Math and Stats are driving all of us crazy! This week we began studying the most critical part before we start to build predictive models.

Has anything funny or comical happened during the bootcamp this week?

It’s so funny to see our dead faces at the end of the day, after more than 10 hours of intense study. It’s intense but we know that our efforts will be worth it!

What is the most practical skill that you’ve learned thus far in the bootcamp?

R and Python! I am amazed at all the things you can do with this programming languages!

What do you like to do when you’re not in class?

I am in my favorite city in the world in the best time of the year, Madrid! I LOVE the “tarde de terrazas” with my friends, the great cuisine, visiting historical spots and all the cultural things Madrid has to offer.

“What do you predict will happen in the remaining weeks of the bootcamp?

It gets tougher every week! Most of the groups already have the data sets of our partner companies to begin working on our capstone projects, so we are going to be even busier as we proceed!
