Irene Menéndez González

Irene Menéndez González se incorporó a IE University como profesora de Economía Política Internacional en enero de 2020. Obtuvo el doctorado por la Universidad de Oxford (en  Nuffield College) en 2015. Fue investigadora en la University of Zurich y en el Institute for Advanced Studies de Toulouse, y profesora en la University of Mannheim. Su trabajo se centra en el estudio de la economía política comparada e internacional, con especial interés en las consecuencias políticas de la globalización, y estado de bienestar y representación política en Europa y América Latina. También estudia la economía política de los mercados laborales y redistribución y los efectos de las instituciones electorales en la representación política.
