Javier Muro leads the Earth Observation operations at IE University’s School of Science & Technology, where he applies advanced remote sensing and deep learning to assess how productive systems influence biodiversity, soil health, carbon sequestration, and human well-being. His research integrates multisensor satellite imagery and UAV data to generate actionable insights for sustainable land management and climate strategies aligned with SDG targets.
