Climate change and Carbon cycle

We explore biological, geochemical, and (bio)technological pathways to capture and reuse CO₂. Our group investigates novel microbial metabolisms for CO₂ conversion, isotopic tools to monitor carbon cycling, and system-level assessments of carbon capture strategies. From fundamental microbiology to applied modeling, our goal is to scale clean CO₂ technologies for a net-zero future.
