Lore Zumeta Olaskoaga, a member of the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM), will present her doctoral thesis titled WStatistical Modelling for Recurrent Events in Sports Injury Research with Applications to Football Injury DataW. This research, under the supervision of professor Dae-Jin Lee from IE Research Datalab, focuses on developing statistical models for sports injury data, aiming to improve injury prevention strategies in sports medicine.
The defense of Zumeta’s thesis is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 16th at 11 a.m., at the Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Science and Technology, UPV/EHU in Leioa. This event represents a significant academic achievement for Zumeta, highlighting her collaboration with her supervisor, Dae-Jin Lee.
