Brief description
Fight against Global Warming and recent energy crisis are reshaping energy landscape. Clean energy, energy security and energy affordability are the trilemma countries all around the World need to solve. Transition from efficient but dirty fossil fuels to cleaner energy sources is not easy to achieve. Fine tunning between supply and demand of oil and gas will continue being a source of difficulties for World Economy.
Moving to cleaner sources of energy will represent a huge investment process that need to be driven with neutrality among different technologies and with a continuous balance between costs and benefits in terms of CO2 emissions reduction. We will review cleaner technologies available an how to introduce them in our lifes and in the industrial process of our industries. All these subjects plus their influence in Global geopolitics will deserve our attention throughout this course. Finally, we will figure out the difficulties of running energy transition building up specific plans for different countries
