About The Chair

The Chair is an initiative of IE University and Impact Bridge Asset Management. Its aim is to help companies and investors generate social and environmental impact.

The Chair examines the latest trends in the field of impact and focuses its research on:

  • The differential values of social entrepreneurs and impact funds and their purpose in generating significant social and environmental change.
  • Their competitive advantages in disruptive environments as agents of change and channelers of capital to solve emerging problems.
  • How they align interests, strategies, and their mission, from the supply side (social entrepreneurs) and the demand side (impact investors) of capital.
  • The capacity of impact investors to channel capital towards social and environmental projects that generate intentional and measurable impact.
