PROFILE: Telecommunications Engineer by UPM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) 1987-1992, and PDD in IESE (2001).
Married with 3 kids, strong leader and fully supporter of diversity teams to be outperformer.
EXPERIENCE: All her career in the Telco sector with several responsibilities: Alcatel-Lucent (1992-1995), Vodafone (1996-2006) where she was CIO and Product Engineering Director, Telefónica Spain (2006- Oct2017), where she has been CIO and Services Development Director as a member of Board of Directors since 2009.
From October 2017 is NEP (Non Executive Director) in AEDASHOMES Board and leader of technology committee.
She is part of the Advisory Board in Cionet, and she was also part of the board in Acens and Telefonica R&D.
Cristina is really involved to help women to thrive in the Technology industry, and she was the leader of Diversity Plan in Telefónica Spain.
She has received several awards for her career: “Digital Leader” by Cionet in 2016, “Engineer of the year 2016” by COIT and AEIT, “AUTELSI award 2017” for her career in TIC.
