Soledad Atienza is Dean of IE Law School and was previously a practicing lawyer at Pérez-Llorca for five years. She has a PhD in Social Sciences from IE University and is a professor of law at the same institution. Her areas of specialization include comparative law and methods for teaching law. Soledad Atienza is Co-Vice President of the IBA (International Bar Association) Future of Legal Services Commission, and codirected the “Blueprint for Global Legal Education.” She is also codirector of the Pérez-Llorca/IE Commercial Law Chair and author of the book “Enseñar Derecho: ¿Puede servirnos la experiencia de Estados Unidos?” (“Teaching law: can the US experience help us?”) published by Aranzadi.
