IE Language Passport
The IE Language Passport is your personalized language profile at IE University. Here, you will:
- Provide information about your native language(s) and other languages you speak.
- Learn about IE’s language requirements.
- Enroll in language courses or take a placement test.
Important note: The IE Language Passport platform will be available starting July 1. You will receive a notification from the Language Center informing you that you can access the platform and complete the required steps.

First-year students: *Important: to complete the IE Language Passport process, it is necessary activate your IE account. If you have not already done so, follow the instructions you received in the email titled: “your journey starts here”. Spanish Language requirements for graduation
In order to graduate, all non-native Spanish speakers must demonstrate a minimum level of B1* proficiency before graduation in 4th or 5th year. This requirement can be satisfied by passing Spanish Intermediate 1 and 2 courses at IE University, which students can take at no additional cost.
*We also accept DELE or SIELE Global certificates (minimum B1 level) as proof of the Spanish language graduation requirement. Please note that we do not accept IB Diploma or A-Level certificates.
