OVERVIEW

A Family Office is not a financial product. It is a strategic decision, one that defines how your family's wealth is governed, invested, and transmitted across generations. And yet, most business families make that decision reactively: after a liquidity event, under time pressure, without the frameworks or the knowledge to do it well.

The Entrepreneurial Family Office Program changes that. It is the only program of its kind in Spain, and one of very few in Europe, backed by IE's pioneering research on family offices and delivered in partnership with the IE Center for Families in Business, the leading global platform for family enterprise excellence.

Five days in Madrid. Faculty who have spent years researching how the world's most sophisticated families structure, govern, and invest their wealth. And every afternoon, principals from established Family Offices who share what no textbook captures: the governance decisions, the investment calls, the family dynamics, and the lessons they would revisit.

What makes this program different is its output. From the first session, each family builds their own personalized Family Office Strategic Roadmap, a concrete, actionable plan tailored to their specific situation. By the final session, it is not a draft. It is a plan they can act on from day one.

On completing the program, participants join the IE Center for Families in Business community and its Family Offices Knowledge Hub, gaining ongoing access to applied research, curated events, and a network of entrepreneurial families and practitioners that grows with every cohort.
