Our host, Enrique Aznar, academic director of the IE-Elecnor Observatory on sustainable compliance, and Eloy Velasco, discuss the measures that companies have taken in Spain since the criminal liability of legal entities was introduced ten years ago.

Eloy Velasco explains that the company lawyer’s role has changed in recent years: previously they only advised on commercial and civil HR matters, but now they are also involved in criminal law.

In addition, it discusses the importance of consumer support for businesses who abide by compliance and who work to prevent crimes such as corruption and fraud and to support sustainability.
