Career Advising

Students can benefit from the knowledge and expertise of the CMC professionals through various channels.

1) 1-on-1 General Career Advising: The CMC will assign one Career Advisor per section who will liaise closely with students throughout the program on all career related matters and provide students with a 1-on-1 career advising meeting.

Career Education

During the core period students will have the opportunity to participate in career sessions that cover topics such as enhancing your CV and cover letter; self-assessment; piloting your career; interview skills; salary negotiation; and mock interviews.  As a collective, these sessions aim to:

  • Motivate participants to get to know themselves better and plan for an effective post-Master career and job search.
  • Help participants better understand their career transition issues.
  • Create awareness for acting proactively and engaging in career self-management.
  • Provide participants with a wide range of tools and resources that will assist them in achieving their career objectives.
