Education and Student Experience

Message from vice rector

“At IE, education goes beyond the classroom. Our role is to shape a student journey that challenges and inspires individuals to grow academically, personally, and professionally. By continuously innovating the way we teach and learn, and by creating an environment where students feel supported and empowered, we help them unlock their potential and prepare to drive positive change in the world.”

Marta Perez Lidon, Vice Rector, IE University

Mission

Education & Student Experience wants to ensure that every stage of the student journey—from the classroom to the broader university experience—is intentional, rigorous, and impactful. We work closely with schools, faculty, and student-facing teams to create an environment where academic excellence, learning innovation, and a people-first culture come together to shape a distinctive educational experience. Through close collaboration across the institution, the area leads strategic initiatives that strengthen the quality of learning, support student development, and continuously enhance how education is delivered at IE University

In 2002, IE University joined the CIVICA alliance, the European University of Social Sciences. The Alliance comprises ten leading European higher education institutions that share similar core values, a global outlook and academic expertise, while bringing fresh approaches and innovative ideas to the higher education landscape.
