How To Participate In The IE Alumni Community

  • Upon your graduation from IE University, you become a lifetime member of the IE alumni community and can begin enjoying the many ALUMNI BENEFITS*. DOWNLOAD THE IE CONNECTS APP and follow us on social media (LinkedIn, and Instagram) to stay connected.

  • Check out the WELCOME TO ALUMNI guide for helpful information about your transition from student to alumni including getting in touch with the Registrar’s Office, what happens to your IE email after graduation, and more!

  • Most importantly, be sure to update your profile in IE Connects (country, preferred language, preferred email etc.) and choose “YES” to the clause, “Global Alumni Relations may keep me informed via email of their events and news”. to receive information from us after graduation. If you do not have this clause as “Yes”, we cannot contact you after graduation and you will miss out on important relevant information.

  • Current students can also take advantage of the alumni community! For an overview of the ways students can get involved with alumni, including through events and mentorships, please see the ALUMNI GUIDE FOR STUDENTS.

Important wrap-up details when finishing the program

IE Campus Platform

You can access IE Campus platform for a period of 1 year after graduation. The learning material from each subject have different expiration dates depending on their source. After this due date, the links to this learning material won’t be available anymore. Any materials posted by faculty, such as presentations, will be available for a period of 1 year providing the member of faculty in question gives permission to share the content. Please keep these deadlines in mind to ensure you access any material you might need in advance of these expiration dates.

IE Email Account

Use your IE e-mail account for life and stay connected to IE. We encourage you to use it as a way to identify yourself as IE alumni. Don’t miss out on any news concerning IE and make sure you direct all of the emails to an account that you check regularly.

Change of domain of your IE email account after graduation: After graduation, the domain of your email account will automatically change to @alumni.ie.edu. This won’t interfere with your email correspondence; you will continue to receive emails that were originally addressed to your @student.ie.edu email address. After that, all of the emails that you’ll send from this account will be sent from the following address: user@alumni.ie.edu
