At IE Law School, our two LL.M. programs are designed for different interests, goals and career paths, while ensuring that you emerge ready to make maximum impact.

The Master of Laws (LL.M.) takes a more corporate focus with specialization tracks that explore various aspects of business law. The Master in International Legal Studies (LL.M.), on the other hand, allows you to delve into social issues as well as technology and how it affects society with the potential to shape our collective future.

However, both of these programs prepare students for our globalized world and to lead in the legal sector. They also avail prospects in wide-ranging sectors, opening doors to varying career opportunities after graduation.

The Master of Laws (LL.M.)

The Master of Laws (LL.M.) shapes well-rounded legal professionals who want to make a mark on the corporate world.

This program imparts the business and legal acumen necessary to advise organizations from an international perspective. With different specialization tracks, you can align your studies with your personal and professional goals. There are four areas of corporate law you can choose to specialize in: International Business Law, Intellectual Property and Technology Law, International Dispute Resolution and International Taxation. With these specializations, you will earn an additional Postgraduate Diploma of Expert (PgDip) certification alongside your Master of Laws (LL.M.).

By studying the Master of Laws (LL.M.), you will also benefit from IE Law School’s work with world-class institutions, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the ICC International Court of Arbitration and the various centers and research initiatives.
