Coursera delegation led by its President Daphne Koller visited IE Business School

Last 28th of May, Daphne Koller founder and president of Coursera visited IE to meet Dean Santiago Iñiguez and other members of the IE Community.

The purpose of the meeting was to continue developing plans for further collaboration agreements between IE and Coursera, as well as to discuss trends of online higher education and MOOCs in business and corporate training.

IE Business School is a partner of Coursera. Two MOOCs were launched by IE last year, the first of which was entitled “Critical Perspectives on Management” with Professor Rolf Strom-Olsen while the second was focused on “Understanding Economic Policymaking” with Professor Gayle Allard. The courses had more than 100,000 enrolments in total.

The School is currently re-running the first course and the second one will be re-launched in an on-demand format within the coming weeks. For more information about these courses and the future steps of IE with Coursera please go to https://www.coursera.org/ie
