Unveiling the Preliminary Findings of the Quantum Policy Lab
Madrid, 19/9/2025 — Yesterday the Center for the Governance of Change (CGC) at IE University had the pleasure of joining the IE School of Science and Technology at the event “A Career in the Quantum World” to share insights from our Quantum Policy Lab project. The event took place at the Main Lecture Hall of IE University’s María de Molina Campus.
The CGC Director, Irene Blázquez, introduced the initiative developed in collaboration with the Centre for Future Generations, while Research Lead, Elena Yndurain, presented the key preliminary findings and recommendations from our upcoming “Is Europe Ready for the Quantum Age?”.
The event continued with an inspiring session Ismael Faro, VP of Quantum and AI at IBM, who shared valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges of building a career in the quantum field. The CGC would like to extend our gratitude to the IE School of Science and Technology and particularly to its Vice Dean, Guillermo de Haro, for his kind invitation. We look forward to continuing our collaboration in advancing dialogue and research on the future of quantum technologies.
The full report, “Is Europe Ready for the Quantum Age?”, will be published soon. For further information, visit the project’s webpage here: Quantum Policy Lab
