El Dr. Juan Pablo Vázquez Sampere se unió a IE Business School en el año 2006. Su investigación se centra en usar la innovación para aumentar la tasa de éxito en las iniciativas emprendedoras tanto de las empresas como de los emprendedores. Para ello el Dr. Vázquez ha desarrollado una nueva investigación que es capaz de no solo explicar porque una determinada empresa tiene éxito sino de predecir si va a volver a tenerlo.

El Dr. Vázquez permanece activo en los programas de Executive Education y tiene un muy demandado electivo que trata sobre Innovación Disruptiva en el MBA. Está muy enfocado en enseñar Innovación con el objetivo de que sus estudiantes estén equipados con herramientas únicas que les permitan ver los mecanismos causales que van a generar cambios y nuevas oportunidades antes que los demás.
