The Future of Healthcare and Long-term Investing

Join us on May 25 at 1.30 pm (GMT+2) as the IE Center for the Governance of Change and the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds present online The Future of Healthcare & Long-term Investing. Experts will discuss hurdles they have faced and solutions they found to invest in global healthcare markets, including biotechnology, telehealth and pharma companies. In the midst of the pandemic, is healthcare a sector for the future? How is it changing? How SWFs and other long-term investors look at it?

Participants for the hour-long webinar include Georgina Murphy (Senior Investment Manager of the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund), Christopher McFadden (Managing Director of KKR focused on US healthcare), Greg Simon (Former Executive Director of the Biden Cancer Initiative & Former Executive VP of Pfizer) and Jeff Goldsmith (President of Health Futures Inc & Editorial Board Member of Health Affairs).

The session will be introduced by Susana Malcorra (Dean of the IE Global & Public Affairs School) and moderated by Duncan Bonfield (CEO of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds) and Isabela del Alcázar (Global Head of Sustainability at IE University) with a conclusion from Javier Capapé (Director of Sovereign Wealth Research at the IE Center for the Governance of Change).
