- The Next Fifty
All year, IE University has been celebrating its 50th anniversary with the campaign The Next Fifty, looking to the future of education and the incredible innovations it holds. A year’s worth of fascinating initiatives and activities will come to a close with a grand finale on November 14th.
During the institutional ceremony at the IE Tower, the Center for the Governance of Change will unveil its foresight report, "The Next 50: Trends for the Next 50 Years." This publication explores the future across various areas including AI governance, biotechnology, the evolving workplace, climate change and education. It has been shaped by the contribution of 15 experts and over 8,000 citizens, reflecting how people envision the world in 2073.
The event will feature a fireside chat between our CEO, Diego del Alcázar Benjumea, and American director, producer and screenwriter, Francis Ford Coppola; as well as as a panel discussion on the future of the humanities in education.
