Today’s World Driven by Tomorrow’s Tech: Now, Next, New
We have released our latest foresight report, "Today’s World Driven by Tomorrow’s Tech: Now, Next, New." It provides nine vectors of change that might have an important transformational power across sectors.
"Today's World Driven by Tomorrow's Tech: Now, Next, New" is a forward-looking strategic foresight report inspired by the inaugural Tech & Foresight Summit, held on November 21, 2024, at IE University. The Summit was organized by the Center for the Governance of Change (CGC) in collaboration with Meta, and served as a hub of collective intelligence, bringing together leading voices from international organizations, governments, global businesses, startups, and academia.
A standout feature of the event was the active involvement of IE University students, including members of the Club for the Governance of Change, reinforcing CGC’s philosophy.
Structured around two dynamic panel discussions, the Summit explored emerging technological forces and societal shifts. Drawing on these conversations—along with CGC’s broader research—the report identifies nine Vectors of Change, such as Data Centers and Generational Inequalities, each with the potential to drive profound transformation across sectors.
To ensure that innovation works in service of humanity, the report offers six actionable policy recommendations aimed at steering tech development in an ethical and equitable direction.
